Started in June 2003, in response to the growing demand for a premier, technologically-advanced custom winegrowing facility; the 115,000 square foot facility was formerly the Mrs. Smith's pie factory. One of the appealing features of the pie factory was the facility’s 50,000 square feet of temperature controlled storage. With the ability to flash freeze products from 400 degrees F to -30 degrees F in minutes, the building was ideal for winemaking with its immense refrigeration capacity. Currently, NW Wine Company serves over 25 clients and produces nearly 85,000 cases of wine annually.
